5G requires new infrastructure for mobile and fixed networks
Mobile telephony, Internet of Things, smart home, autonomous driving and Industry 4.0 pose new requirements for communications networks. An expansion is inevitable in order to ensure stable, gapless data transmission in near-real time. From the beginnings of mobile communications, we have been among the leading full-service providers. As an independent partner in German and Austrian mobile communications, we can look back on almost 30 years of market experience in this area. Since the 2G era, EQOS Energie has constantly expanded and modernised numerous networks in both countries, thereby gaining detailed knowledge of the respective network structures. In Germany alone, EQOS Energie has so far constructed, expanded or refurbished 45,000 base stations, 15,000 radio relay links and more than 1,000 masts.

Our
service portfolio
The service portfolio of EQOS Energie ranges from planning and all preparatory measures over construction, implementation and project completion to the maintenance of transmission facilities and masts. Furthermore, we are already working on the expansion of FTTx networks in Germany and Austria.
Mobile telephony
We render our services in GSM, UMTS, LTE, 5G as well as tetra and radio networks. We are certified for all system technologies established in mobile telephony.
Network Integration
By connecting all mobile telephony base stations to fibre optics infrastructure, 5G becomes fully performant. Based on staging, we offer strategic solutions to network operators.
Directional radio
With 15,000 installed radio relay links, we ensure guaranteed availability of highly prioritised data and time-critical language tools.
In-building radio coverage
We play a leading role when it comes to in-house radio coverage. The gapless supply also forms a good basis for a later expansion to 5G.
Pole construction
Our engineering team develops customised new, economically and technologically efficient poles and towers.
